We believe Yoga, Mindfulness and  meditation are suitable for all and we have a range of classes and styles for students to choose from, according to where you are in life, age, health and fitness. 
Whether your practice is focused on fitness, weight loss, reducing stress, personal development or general well-being, we’re committed to providing you with the tools you need to lead  a healthier lifestyle

Please check with the class instructor for prices and that there is availability before arriving.
 Class times/days are subject to occasional change/cancellation.

Many classes have a drop-in policy but can fill up quickly. The instructor can advise.
Please also consult with the instructor in respect of any medical conditions or physical injury you may have. This can nearly always be accommodated to your individual needs but it helps the instructor to have advance warning so they can prepare for you.
Most classes also accommodate all levels although some classes are specifically aimed at beginners or intermediate.

Restorative Yoga Workshops
with Ian Bentley

In this workshop you can take an opportunity to slow down and allow yourself to take time out to calm the body and mind.

In Restorative yoga all postures are fully supported with blankets, blocks and bolsters ensuring your comfort, whilst your body gently relaxes. 

Restorative yoga balances the nervous system and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This can help to improve sleep, and reduce the likelihood of depression and anxiety. 

Within this workshop I will incorporate Aromatherapy oils, readings, drumming and other instruments that have a therapeutic effect on the body and mind through sound and vibration.

Please arrive by 4:45pm, wearing warm loose fitting clothing, warm socks and bring a blanket with you.

Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath
Welcome home to yourself...
Simple stretches to loosen the body, ease the breath and unwind the mind in preparation for yoga nidra - a guided meditation and visualisation practice lying in savasana - mats and blankets provided.
Accompanied by the healing sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, chimes and more. Deep rest for body, mind and nervous system. Suitable for all ages, health conditions andexperience levels.

Buddha Enlightenment
Loving Kindness Yoga Workshop

This sadhana explores the legend of Buddha's Birth, Deva Tara and the teachings of Buddhism. We all hold the Buddha Nature within, we must only set this free (blue) 

Buddhism derives from the word budhi, meaning to awaken. Buddhism is a way of
life that opens the heart and soul to unconditional love, peace and joy. 

In a world of constant change and impermanence, happiness and peace truly arise from within. Slowly, like a candle flame or a mountain, the most solid things evolve; they have no permanent essence. Similarly, our inner experience of mind and emotions are in constant fluctuation. Buddhism teaches that awareness is the only permanent aspect of life; the awareness that holds the space for the flow of life to pass through.

Buddha enlightenment arises when we open into this freedom space of awareness; an inner sky of peace that opens spontaneously and effortlessly; undisturbed and non-reactive to the world around us. Buddha Nature is the essence of life; inherently peaceful, joyful and compassionate.

Understanding that all beings are experiencing the same wonderful, yet turbulent motion of life, there is deep love and compassion for all of humanity. All of life becomes an offering of devotion and compassion; your heart and soul live forever free. 

Through deep sadhana arises deep peace; from deep peace lifts the light of wisdom; from wisdom expands sweet love and compassion. We all hold the Buddha Nature within, we must only set this free.

'Buddha Enlightenment' will explore the legend of Buddha's birth and the teachings of Buddhism. We will flow through a series of creative, heart-expanding namaskars, back bending sequences, partner yoga and inversions. You will also experience a nourishing yin flow, inspired by the story of Green Tara, the mother of all Buddhas, and a closing Buddhist maitre meditation.

This soulful, yet dynamic yoga practice shares joy of movement, compassion of the heart and the Buddha Nature within. This experience is enhanced by the serene ambiance of the Tree Room, fairy lights and aromatic oils.

Exploring the Rainbow Bridge 
8th September 2pm - 4.30pm

A workshop designed to connect with chakras through yoga. Chakras are energy centres found in the subtle body which can become blocked due to trauma or chronic manifestation of bad habits.  The workshop will use visualisations, meditations, breathing and postural work to tap into the energetic field of the body and  help clear any blockages,  enabling the energy to flow freely again through the body.
